Applying the 5S model at businesses
Businesses and companies now set standards along with quality management models to develop and build the best working environment for employees, thereby ensuring business activities are more efficient. VIETNAM LUBRICANTS AND CHEMICALS JOINT STOCK COMPANY – VILUBE has also applied the 5S model in the management process at the factory.
The 5S model is a type of quality management developed from Japan, this model focuses on the process of screening, organizing, cleaning, caring and being ready to reasonably combine the assets as well as the workspace of each individual. The goal of the 5S model is to create an efficient, professional working environment, saving time and resources. In addition, the 5S model also gives businesses a positive working culture and self-management.

Recently, the Night & Day Security team at Vilube factory was awarded the first and second prizes by the Board of Directors of the factory for well implementing the 5S model during the work at the target. Outstanding employees who received the award include:

Each Night & Day security guard has applied the 5S model effectively in daily work such as:
- Smart arrangement: The equipment, items and documents at the security room are all neatly organized. Thereby, protection can be more convenient for work and help save search time.
- Cleanliness and maintenance: The team has well maintained the working area and equipment in the waiting area, pump room, in front of the company gate is always clean and repaired promptly, maintained on time. This, in turn, has created a safer and more productive working environment for all employees.
- Comply with protective safety and do not violate safety, always remind drivers and subcontractors, employees to comply with safety at the target.
