WEF on East Asia: Leveraging growth for equitable progress

The World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia 2014, themed “Leveraging Growth for Equitable Progress” will organize main discussions on how to promote models for sustainable development and regional connection.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung will join the event, which draws the attendance of around 450 delegates in and outside the region, and pay an official visit to the Philippines on May 21-22.

 

 

PM Dung will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum, join as a special guest at the “Asia development” Initiative themed “ASEAN Agriculture and Food Security Agenda” and “Promotion of ASEAN Economic Community though Public-Private Partnership”.

 

He will chair a dialogue with leaders of some regional and international corporation and enterprises at the event.

 

Over recent years, Viet Nam has actively participated in WEF’s activities and successfully organized the WEF on East Asia on Ho Chi Minh City in 2010.

 

The successful event in 2010 advertised the image of Viet Nam in the context that the world’ economy has recovered and investors are seeking for a sustainable market.

 

In 2012 and 2013, the PM joined the WEF on East Asia in Thailand and Myanmar.
